Privacy Policy
We collect only what the service needs to work, and this page lists all of it. We never sell personal information, and we don't share it with third parties beyond the processors below, except when required by law.
What we store
- Account: your email address, and the forwarding phone number and forwarding email you configure for each number.
- Call metadata: for each forwarded call, the caller's number, their approximate location (city/state as reported by the carrier), the time, and the duration. We do not record or listen to calls.
- Text messages: the full body of incoming SMS messages is stored so we can deliver it to your email and show it in your account.
- Payment: card metadata only — brand, last four digits, and expiration. Full card numbers are held by Stripe, our payment processor, and never touch our servers.
- How you found us: the first page of our site you visited and the website that linked you to it, saved with your account when you sign up.
- Operational logs: web request logs (IP address, page, time) kept for security and debugging.
Who processes it
The service runs on Cloudflare (hosting, storage, email delivery). Twilio carries calls and messages. Stripe processes payments. Google provides our support mailbox (Workspace). Each processes your data only to provide the service. To measure visits and purchases we also use Google Analytics, the Meta pixel and Microsoft (Bing) UET, described under Cookies below.
How long we keep it
Call and message logs are kept for the life of your account plus 12 months, then deleted. Account and billing records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. To close your account and request deletion of your data, email support@guavanumbers.com.
Cookies
We set three cookies of our own: one keeps you logged in, one protects our forms against forged requests, and one remembers for 30 days the first page you visited and the website that sent you, so we know which pages bring customers. We also load measurement tags from Google (Analytics), Meta and Microsoft (Bing). They set their own cookies to count visits and purchases, and those companies can use that to measure advertising. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load those tags and we do not set the first-page cookie.
Your choices
You can see and update your forwarding details and card at any time in your account. You may request a copy or deletion of your personal data by email; we respond within 30 days.
